A while ago, I tweeted about whether "guest threads" were a thing, to which Shaan Puri replied that he did and had a pretty good experience with them.

So, I went into a rabbit hole looking for those threads. And found this one:

I absolutely LOVE this. It’s a win-win situation:

• Shaan gets valuable content for his account

• Sieva gets exposure and his content resonates with more people

This tactic is nothing new. It has been done for a long time on blogs and newsletters, but I've never seen it on social media.

🕵️‍♂️ How to steal it?

Make a list of 10 creators with similar audiences to yours in your niche. DM them, offering to write a guest post on a topic that may be helpful to them.
